Monday Morning at Minnie’s

After a long weekend of basketball, basketball and more basketball, I got up bright and early on Monday morning and volunteered at Minnie’s Food Pantry in Plano, TX serving others. When I volunteered for the first time last year, I vowed to invite a few friends. This time, I invited my friend Cameron Carson to come along and we had quite a good time! Our morning consisted of unloading food trucks, sorting food, moving boxes of food and inspecting!

We enjoyed giving up part of our morning to volunteered from 8:00 am – 10:30 am… and got a chance to not only meet the director Erica Simon, Mr. Curtis, Mr. Leroy and other volunteers; but also help in the preparation to serve others.Volunteers are always needed on Mondays. Contact Minnie’s Food Pantry to volunteer. Volunteering at Minnie’s Food Pantry is a very rewarding experience!!
