Great Debut at Bishop Lynch for Scaife

(November 20, 2014) – Tonight would be a night to remember for Chris. It was his first game at Bishop Lynch playing Varsity under Coach Kyle May. After getting in the game in the first quarter with about 2 minutes left in the game, you could clearly see that Chris was nervous, but after a few times up and down the court, he settled down.  Chis shot his first 3 pointer and missed. Later he came down and shot a short jumper from the wing and ended the 1st quarter with a quick spin move through the center finishing at the buzzer.

Starting the 2nd quarter, Chris dissed a few assists and knocked down a long three from the wing. Driving to the basket, he drew a foul and went to the line. In the 3rd quarter, he made another 2 threes; in which the third came with 3.9 seconds let. He got  the rebound and dribbled to the side and just as he steps inside half court, with 1 second left, shoots the ball and makes it at the buzzer. He later made another 3 in the fourth quarter.

Chris ended the night with 14 points, 3 Assists, 4 Rebounds, and 2 Steals. Not bad for the first game at Bishop Lynch. Looking forward to many more games like tonight.

Chris, keep working hard on as well as off the court! Remembering just what ChrisGotGame3 stands for…. God first, Others second, Myself third!!!
