Razorback Basketball Position Camp

Today was a very long, challenging, yet rewarding day for me!

I got the chance to attend the Mike Anderson Basketball Position Camp at Bud Walton Arena located on the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The camp was for elite players who are looking to play at the college level. The day consisted of stations run by the Razorback  coaches and staff. The stations were intense and included: attack moves, Noah system, 2 vs 2, shooting, post scoring, ball handling and nutrition/training. There were also very competitive and physical scrimmage games that included: full court 11 man break, 3 vs 3, 4 vs 4, and 5 vs 5 games. During these scrimmage games you got the opportunity to compete against and play with some of the top players in the league. Information was also provided on preparing for college and NCAA eligibility.

Some of my highlights of the day were to be trained by some of the top coaches and Ex-players in the league who included Mr. Lee Mayberry and Mr. Scotty Thurman. However, the biggest highlight was that we were given a tour of the new practice facility which is OFF THE CHAIN…

I would like to again thank the Razorback coaches: Coach Mike Anderson, Coach Melvin Watkins and Coach TJ Cleveland for inviting me to this camp. I really enjoyed the experience and look forward to attend the next camp.
