Scaife gets First Dunk of the Season!

January 3, 2015 would be the first district home game of the season and Chris Scaife would be a true game changer.

In the first half, the Friars managed to get just 7 points on the board. With less than a minute of playing time in the entire first half and Bishop Lynch Friars down by nearly 20 points, Scaife would enter the game the start of the third quarter and would play for the entire second half.

In the third quarter, Scaife would rally the Friars and fans with a forced turnover, a steal and a fast break away left hand electrifying DUNK! Scaife’s hard core defense, rebounding, steals and assists would contribute to the Friars coming back within 9 points and the Friars finishing the 3rd quarter with an additional 13 points. In the fourth quarter, Scaife’s defense would continue to be a problem for TCA. He would hold them to only a few points in the point and most of their points coming from the line.

Although Scaife only contributed 2 points, his pure defense, rebounding, steals, forced turnovers, and assists would be the true game changer for the Friars and their fans! For Scaife, he took a few good shots that literally rattled the rim and came out, this game truly showed coaches, teammates and fans just how strong of a defender he is making him an all around complete player; on both defense ans offense.
