Friday, a day off from school… and the start of a three day weekend. How would you spend your day?
Well, bright and early Friday morning, Chris Scaife decided that he’d rather spend his morning serving other. And what better place than Minnie’s Food Pantry! Chris’ day consisted of sorting food, inspecting, unloading and packing grocery and walking groceries out with families on the red carpet!
Chris volunteered from 8:00 am – 11:30 am… and got a chance to not only meet the director Erica Simon and other volunteers, but to also meet the founder of Minnie’s Food Pantry, Mrs. Cheryl “Action” Jackson which added to the excitement of his day! Chris enjoyed volunteering at Minnie’s Food Pantry so much that he said he’d like to do it again… and this time bring a few friends along!! Volunteering at Minnie’s Food Pantry was a very rewarding experience!!
