February 14, 2017 — Tonight is Senior Night and the night was sure to be a special night for Scaife. With his mother Sharon, brother Cedric, family and friends on hand, emotions were running high as tonight would be his last home game of the regular season at Bishop Lynch High School.
Before the start of the game, the Friars recognized its four seniors. Smiling from ear to ear, Scaife was escorted on to the court by his mother and brother as the Friars recognized him and three other seniors: Duncan West, Nick Freis and Reid Williams.
Scaife would start and do the jump ball to begin the night’s game against John Paul II.
Going two for two behind three point, a few strong drives to the basket, a reverse underneath the basket and going 2 of 3 from the free throw line, Scaife ended the night as the high scorer with 12 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist in their 61-46 win over JP II. What a way to end Senior Night! Job well done Scaife. Looking for another great performance during the TAPPS 6A Super Regional – Semifinal.
The Friars travel to College Station on Thursday to play in the TAPPS 6A Super Regional – Semifinal. Their first game vs Katy Saint John’s is scheduled for 5:30pm at A&M Consolidated HS.
