DALLAS, TX — Chris Scaife scores another BIG assist, a student at Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas, Texas as he provides backpacks and school supplies again to local youth in partnership with Teen Graffiti Magazine and Teens Reaching Teens, Inc. during their 12th annual Keepin’ It Real! Youth Empowerment Summit held Saturday, August 22nd at Richland College in Dallas, TX.

“My parents instilled in me the importance of giving back and I will always hold that near and dear to my heart,” stated Chris Scaife. “If I can help just one youth start the school year with pens, pencils, paper, tablets and a backpack, I’ve done what my parents instilled in me, but gave back as God has commanded me to do.” Scaife added.

Teen Graffiti’s Keepin’ It Real! Youth Empowerment Summit included workshops by local business professional who provided workshops on STD/HIV-The Consequences of our choices, Identity, Perfecting A Culture of Excellence (P.A.C.E.), and College 101/RCHS. Youth participants enjoyed inspiring and motivational messages from our morning keynote speaker (Dr. Joe May and Dr. Tony Summers), and an evening keynote speaker (Rev. Kevin Ruff – Youth Pastor, Concord Baptist Church-Dallas). Entertainment was provided by Steph & Metta and Christian Rap Artist Adrion Butler.
